If you just need to read a single item, point reads are cheaper and faster than queries. Most read-heavy workloads on Azure Cosmos DB use a combination of both point reads and SQL queries. Queries always cost at least 2.3 request units and, in general, will have a higher and more variable latency than point reads. SQL queries - You can query data by writing queries using the Structured Query Language (SQL) as a JSON query language. #Ms sql json query how toHere are some examples of how to do Point reads with each SDK: Point reads return a single whole item, not a partial item or a specific field. For a 1 KB document, point reads typically cost 1 request unit with a latency under 10 ms. The item ID and partition key combination is the key and the item itself is the value. Point reads - You can do a key/value lookup on a single item ID and partition key. #Ms sql json query seriesHowever, the OPENJSON function can return any complex object.įinally, there is a FOR JSON clause that can format any result set returned by SQL query as JSON text:Ĭheck out the other posts in this four-part series in the links below (as they become available), or learn more in the SQL Server 2016 blogging series. In Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL accounts, there are two ways to read data: In this example, string values from the tags array are returned. The OPENJSON function enables you to reference some array in JSON text and return elements from that array: JSON built-in functions use JavaScript-like syntax to reference values and objects in JSON text via second parameter. JSON_QUERY returns an object or array (in this example an array of tags) on the JSON path. strings, numbers, true/false) that is placed on a JSON path specified as the second parameter. The JSON_VALUE function returns one scalar value from JSON text (e.g. This query will return “Basic”, “Bristol”, and values. Now, we can extract values and objects from JSON text using the JSON_VALUE and JSON_QUERY functions: In the following Transact-SQL code, we will define a text variable where we will put JSON text: Finally, there is the FOR JSON clause that enables you to format query results as JSON text. Any SQL query can be executed on the returned result set. For more advanced querying and analysis, the OPENJSON function can transform an array of JSON objects into a set of rows. If you have JSON text, you can extract data from JSON or verify that JSON is properly formatted using built-in functions JSON_VALUE, JSON_QUERY, and ISJSON. JSON functions in SQL Server enable you to analyze and query JSON data, transform JSON to relational format, and export SQL query results as JSON text. In this post, we will present a high-level overview of JSON functionality in SQL Server 2016. Because a lot of data is formatted as JSON, it is important to enable SQL Server to process JSON text retrieved from other systems or to format information retrieved from SQL Server tables as JSON text.Īs the most-requested feature on the Microsoft SQL Server connect site, with more than 1,000 votes, support for JSON text processing has been added to SQL Server 2016. JSON is the common format when semi-structured information needs to be stored, such as in files. Most modern services return information formatted as JSON text web browsers use information formatted as JSON. JSON is currently one of the most commonly used data exchange formats. ![]()

11/14/2022 0 Comments Anno 1602 game editor![]() The game itself was published by a German studio Max Design. Do i need to mention that fighting system also takes up tremendous effort to master? It takes a special kind of gamer to appreciate the ingenuity of Anno 1602, and to fully master it. While it is not essential that you fight, you will seldom manage to avoid it entirely. After you have expanded to surrounding islands, and used up their resources, you will have to consider armed conflict with your neighbours. Everything else is up to you and your management skills. You start off with one ship and some resources to get you going. Did i mention that game takes place on islands? Well, it does. After some misses on the start you should get a good grasp of the economy, and be able to advance your little island. If you go about it the wrong way, you simply end up with no money to build, and more importantly, no way to earn it. It has a very steep learning curve, and the scenario is quite challenging to master. And even more if you wanted some higher tier product. The micromanagement system was so detailed that you had to spend hours and hours just to set up your raw material production. But the game play of the game was, and still is, extraordinary. Now, it may look ancient by today's graphic terms, and it probably is. But it all began 13 years ago with a game called Anno 1602: Creation of a New World (well, Sim City 2 had something to say, also). In recent days my focus has been on new editions of East India Company, Civilization V etc. I simply relish any opportunity to build and trade. And i hold true to that to this very day. When i first started playing video games, it was clear from the start that my favorite genres will be city-building, trading and colonization. Seriously, is there anything that's not perfect in this game? Build, research, colonize, enjoy Then in the challenging but very fun gameplay. The game sounds are also very nice, not intrusive and detailed, you can even hear the cows mooing and sailors ahoying to each other! At first, I was just in love with the game visuals. The amazing detail and visual appeal will probably make you play the game as soon as you've seen it and not to get lost in the game, you have a quick tutorial. You have 15 scenarios at your disposal and a map editor to make your own scenarios. You will rarely get challenged to battle. Building colonies and managing recources are your primary concern. What is different from other strategy games like Civilization or Age of Empires is that the main focus of this game is economical and diplomatic development rather than warfare. or Anno 1602: Creation of a New World in some parts of the world is a game with both real time strategy and city building elements, developed by Austria-based Max Design company. ![]() 11/13/2022 0 Comments Oracle sql week number![]() If is an exact numeric and is an interval, then the interval contains a single date-time field. SQL functions are used exclusively with SQL commands within SQL statements. If passed a null value, most functions return a null value. And so, for the homes in the Nielsen panel, they now have an accurate view of internet viewing, including Netflix and YouTube.” But over the last two years, they’ve developed and rolled out new technology at the Wi-Fi router level. Netflix had long resisted attempts by outside firms to estimate its viewership data, and Mr. “At 6 percent per year, it’s not going to be long.” “It’s kind of obvious there’s a time frame over which streaming takes over linear,” he said. In terms of connectivity, the lines are again fairly equal. It’s an elegant aesthetic and successfully walks the line between garish and gorgeous. Available in three colors - silver, Poseidon Blue, and Ash Silver (more of a brownish color) - HP created a gem-cut design with the Spectre that has cutouts at the lead edge of the chassis and bottom of the display and chamfered edges in either a reddish or gold chrome that combine to present a distinctive look. Both lines have models with taller displays, either 16:10 or 3:2, and so both are leveraging this recent industry trend for improved productivity.Īesthetically, HP aims for a minimalist design with the Envy. The Envy line has nothing that can match it. The Spectre x360 13 is a prime example - it’s a tiny 13-inch 2-in-1 thanks to a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The Spectre line tends to have smaller display bezels, so their chassis overall are smaller compared to similarly-sized Envy machines. You can’t really fault either lineup, but Spectre laptops are a cut above.īoth Envy and Spectre laptops are relatively thin and light, with neither lineup having a distinct advantage. Some Envy laptops are a step behind, with lids that can bend under pressure and keyboard decks that demonstrate some flex. In contrast, the Spectre line enjoys unibody chassis via CNC machining processes. Both are all-metal, and both are at least reasonably rigid, but the Envy line is constructed of stamped aluminum. The next difference, albeit not as major, is in their build qualities. They range from the Envy x360 13 through the Envy x360 15 to the Envy 17, with the Envy 14 and Envy 15 being the most recent laptops finely tuned to meet the needs of creative professionals. While there have been clamshell Spectre machines in the past, all current Spectres are convertible 2-in-1s. The biggest design difference between the Envy and Spectre lines are their shape and size. What are the primary differences between the two? Read on to find out. That’s changed, at least in terms of capabilities, with the Envy aimed at creators and the Spectre meant for discerning productivity users.
